Retiree Association Annual Membership Dues

The Retiree Association is open to all members, regardless of rank or assignment, who worked in any Fire department in Palm Beach County.

2023 Annual Dues

The dues structure for retirees/drop members is $50/year (Jan – Dec).

Annual dues are tax deductible, help fund community projects, fund the use of technology to maintain communication with all our members, fund projects that benefit both the retirees and their families and to plan our annual membership reunion in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our dues are NOT associated with Local 2928. If you are unsure if you have paid your UNION dues, please contact MembershipServices@iaff2928.com

What We Do For You

We maintain a DVP position with the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics of Palm Beach County (Local 2928), to stay informed and represent our retiree members. In addition, we strive to keep the communication process going between the retirees and the Palm Beach County Firefighters Employee Benefits Fund for purposes of benefits and insurance.

Our signature Firefighter Chili Cook Off will help raise funds designated for helping Firefighters on a Mission and Firefighters to the Rescue. We also link our retirees with the Florida Firefighter Cancer Initiative with the University of Miami. We continue to support firefighters with cancer, illness, etc as well as community projects such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Hospice, Waterfront Warriors, etc.

Gatherings

We meet the first Wednesday of every month for lunch (alternating north and south), we host the Firefighter Chili Cook Off and we join together for our Annual October Reunion.
